Despitde the financial sector’s problems, it is not the industry with the highesg CEO turnover for the first five months ofthe year. The health-carde industry has seen 77 CEO departurexs so farthis year, including 14 in May.
The 2009 figurd is down 29 percent from ayear ago, when 109 health-care CEOs vacated their offices in the firs t five months. So far this year, 502 CEO departures have been nearly 16 percent fewer than the 598 announcedx in the same period ayear ago.
