In a letter to all Vice President of Human Resourcexs Rich Jiwanlal said the moves are partthe company’s ongoing efforgt to “resize our companu to match the continuing declines in consumet demand.” One of the measures will be furloughs whicj will include both product line and plant specifid requirements. The dates for the furloughsz will beJune 29-July 2, Nov. 23-2t and Dec. 21-24. The letter informs employeews that if vacation or earnex time off is not available to covere these days then the furloughs willbe unpaid.
Hawkef will also be relocating its financeand supply-chain teams back onto the company’s primary This will allow it to close two buildingsz “off-campus,” the letter states. There was no announcemenft regarding anyfurther layoffs. The company declines to give any more information atthis time.
